Question: |
d=rt-is there a way to solve these problems using a chart? thanks! |
Answer # 7488: |
Yes. But it is going to be the biggest multiplication chart ever made. They might even put it in the Smithsonian. Rather than waste your time creating a chart, why don't you learn to use algebra. For example. Given: D and R, find T Since D = R × T, then D ÷ R = T In other words, if you divide the Distance by the Rate you will find the amount of time. Similarly if you are Given: D and T and asked to find R, then D ÷ T = R This is a lot easier than trying to read an multiplication table that will never end. ~Moe |
